Your new role as a Trade Assistant within our Machine Rebuilds department will report to the Workshop Supervisor. 

 

Department Overview: The Mining Rebuilds workshop at Welshpool, WA, offers cost-effective rebuilds and repairs for Caterpillar equipment. We specialise in certified rebuilds, powertrain components, and custom solutions, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.


Roster: 7Days, 7 Off, 7Nights, 7Off - 12.5hr shift (Inclusive of 30min meal break) OR 5Days on, 2Days off 10.5hrs (Inclusive of 30min meal break)

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Maintaining all aspects of the yard and assisting in the activities carried out
  • Assist the maintenance, stripping and reassembling of our large mining equipment.
  • Assisting other T/A's and Plant Mechanics 

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience of Trade Assistant work is essential 
  • Forklift License is essential
  • Good attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
