Site Supervisor - Project Support

Reporting into the Branch Manager – Project Support Group, the Site Supervisor – Project Support will be responsible for leading project teams on site. This role will predominantly be based in Perth with site travel requirements, depending on business needs (25%-75%)

 

Roster:  8days on 6days off, 12.5 hours per day (including unpaid meal breaks)

Location: Perth, WA and FIFO to site ex Perth on a needs basis

 

What you’ll do:

  • Provide daily leadership, guidance and operational support to FIFO site maintenance personnel
  • Maintain strong communication across PSG work group and with customer contacts to support job clarity and expectations
  • Deliver high levels of safety awareness and enforce safe work practices across all site activities
  • Assist teams on-site with technical maintenance information, documentation, and process improvements
  • Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled project work scopes in partnership with branch and labour hire teams
  • Oversee delivery and demobilisation of rebuilt trucks (e.g. 793F), ensuring seamless handover and decom transitions
  • Engage in planning and execution of customer project shut down work, on various sites within WA
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly reporting with focus on site safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction
  • Travel regularly (25–75%) from Perth to sites, operating on an 8-days-on, 6-days-off roster

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Valid Section 44 supervisory qualification/experience (moving towards S26 statutory requirement)
  • Background and experience as a field serviceman or onsite maintenance support with HD Cert III or equivalent technical competency
  • Strong Caterpillar Dealership knowledge including Caterpillar systems, SIS, ET and CRM
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent people and communication skills
  • Comfortable with frequent FIFO travel ex Perth, dynamic scheduling, and varying work scopes
