Senior Supervisor

Reporting to Rebuilds Execution Manager, the Rebuilds Senior Supervisor is responsible for leading the assigned execution teams by providing guidance to team members ensuring safety, quality and efficiency are of the highest standard, resulting in high customer satisfaction.

 

Roster:  8/6 Tues – Tues, 12.5 Hours per day (including unpaid meal breaks)

Location: Welshpool, WA

 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and support workshop supervisors and teams to deliver high safety, quality, and efficiency standards
  • Allocate daily tasks and manage workshop operations to ensure timely invoicing and productivity targets
  • Act as a key customer liaison, providing updates and resolving issues to enhance satisfaction
  • Monitor WIP (work-in-progress) and ensure optimal resource and technician utilisation
  • Drive compliance with Caterpillar and customer-specific standards and requirements
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
  • Report directly to the Rebuilds Execution Manager, providing insights into team performance and operational outcomes

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Mobile plant or automotive electrical)
  • Extensive experience in a similar role or technical environment
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information quickly
  • Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously. Adaptability including the ability to perform efficiently in different environments and with diverse tasks and people
  • Advanced communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated advanced customer service skills with an understanding as to the importance of effective Customer Management
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly
  • Stress tolerance and the ability to maintain satisfactory work standards under pressure
  • Advanced stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office)
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to enable effective resolution of issues within the workplace and/or customer disputes

 

Desirable

  • Caterpillar Systems, Parts, and Product Knowledge
  • Front line Customer service roles within the mining, construction, and heavy equipment industry
  • Continuous improvement experience using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean or Agile
