Rebuilds - Operations Support Manager

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Rebuilds – Operational Support Manager will join our team on a fulltime basis at our Welshpool location.
The role supports three major streams for the Welshpool Operations Group, including, forecasting and capacity planning, price estimation along with parts sourcing and logistics. The key parts to this role are ensuring rebuild scopes and plans are robust yet flexible enough to accommodate operational variability while accurately forecasting and sourcing the resources, facilities, and materials required for delivery.
Roster – Rotating roster
Week 1: 5D2O 8.5 hours Week 2: 4D3O 10.5 hours (including meal break)

What You'll Do:
- Lead the project management and implementation of a centralised statewide planning and pricing system, including the adoption of new systems and processes to standardise scheduling and improve operational efficiency.
- Leads by example and drives a strong safety‑first culture through effective planning and risk management.
- Builds a skilled, engaged, and diverse team through coaching, development, and succession planning.
- Sets clear expectations, ensures accountability, and oversees accurate planning, forecasting, and resource alignment.
- Promotes innovation and long‑term strategic thinking to support continuous improvement and change readiness.
- Applies commercial acumen to optimise productivity, resource utilisation, profitability, and pipeline visibility.
- Strengthens stakeholder relationships, communicates effectively, influences outcomes, and approves all key scopes, quotations, forecasts, and allocations.
Skills & Experience:
- Tertiary qualification with 5+ years post‑trade supervisory or operations support leadership experience, ideally within an OEM or similar industry.
- Proven people‑leadership capability, including coaching, mentoring, and building high‑performing teams with strong emotional intelligence.
- Strong commercial, customer, and operational understanding, including financial drivers, planning, forecasting, scheduling, and working effectively in dynamic environments.
- Strategic and analytical thinker able to manage competing priorities while building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
