Reporting to the Forecast Planning Supervisor, the Rebuilds Planner will join our Rebuilds Operational Support team on a full‑time basis. This role is responsible for supporting the Rebuilds Execution and Fabrication Teams through successful jobs and planning future work through the Rebuilds facility(s). The Planning Team develop detailed Build Gantts that guide the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of machine rebuilds and support the coordination of internal and external services. As the  point of reference for rebuild scheduling, you will play a critical role in ensuring operational readiness, workflow coordination, and adherence to forecasted plans across the department..

 

Roster – Monday – Friday, 8.5 Hrs/Day (including meal break)

Location - Welshpool

 

What You'll Do:

  • Lead by example, modelling WesTrac values and promoting a strong safety and accountability culture.
  • Develop accurate and detailed Build Gantts to support efficient rebuild execution and compliance to forecast.
  • Coordinate and task internal vendors, ensuring clarity of requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage variations and deviations, ensuring timely communication, documentation, and handover to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and drive compliance to forecast, escalating constraints that impact labour, space, or operational capacity.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in maintenance planning or a similar technical planning role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical information quickly.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management, analytical and organisational skills.
  • Proficient with planning tools and confident using MS Office.
  • Desirable: Mechanical Trade Certificate, Caterpillar product knowledge, and continuous improvement experience.
