About Welshpool

The Mining Rebuilds workshop at Welshpool, WA, offers cost-effective rebuilds and repairs for Caterpillar equipment. We specialise in certified rebuilds, powertrain components, and custom solutions, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

 

Your new role as the Machine Assembler will report into the Workshop Supervisor and will be based in our Welshpool Department.

 

Location:  Welshpool

 

Roster: 5 days on, 2 days (2 weeks of dayshift, 1 week of nightshift) off 10.5 hours each day (Inclusive of 30min meal break)

 

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for assisting the Plant Mechanics in machine rebuilds and component change outs on Caterpillar heavy earthmoving equipment.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent mechanical aptitude or mechanical experience, Heavy or Light Vehicle
  • Exposure working in a similar service environment or mining
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Basic tools required
  • Forklift Ticket, Basic Rigger, Dogging, Working at Heights - Advantageous
