Plant Mechanic Specialist – Machine Rebuilds

Mining Rebuilds Workshop in Welshpool, WA, is the hub for cost-effective Caterpillar equipment rebuilds and repairs. We specialise in certified rebuilds, powertrain components, and custom solutions, ensuring maximum performance and minimal downtime for our customers.

What You Will Do
- Responsible for completing all aspects of rebuilds and repairs for a diverse fleet of Caterpillar machines.
- Ensure that all replacements and repairs are conducted to rebuild customer CAT fleets, thereby extending their lifespan and enhancing productivity.
- Opportunity to mentor and coach less-experienced technicians and apprentices while engaged in trade-related activities.
What We Are Looking For
- Trade qualified in Mobile Plant Technology.
- Strong leadership and mentoring experience (Leading Hand/Supervisor background).
- Advanced diagnostic and fault-finding skills using CAT SIS.
- Experience with CAT dealership and traditional CAT fleet (OHT, Grader, Loader).
- High competence in mobile low-voltage electrical systems & air conditioning, with advanced schematic interpretation skills.
