Your new role as the Auto Electrician for Machine Rebuilds you will be reporting to the Workshop Supervisor.

 

About Welshpool

The Mining Rebuilds workshop at Welshpool, WA, offers cost-effective rebuilds and repairs for Caterpillar equipment. We specialise in certified rebuilds, powertrain components, and custom solutions, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

 

Rosters: 5days on, 2days off  (2 weeks of dayshift, 1 week of nightshift) - 10.5hrs (Inclusive of a 30min upaid lunch break)

 

What you'll do:

  • Work on Caterpillar heavy earthmoving equipment, performing a variety of tasks,
  • Assembly or reassembly of electrical components, dealer provided option installations, maintenance and build ups to customers specification ensuring optimum safety and efficiency throughout the entire build.
  • Assist with the busy workload to meet the required deadlines and schedules

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Australian-recognised Auto Electrical Trade Certificate.
  • Previous experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
