Forecast Planning Supervisor

Reporting into Rebuilds – Operations Support Manager, the Forecast Planning Supervisor will join our Rebuilds Planning on a Full-Time basis at our Welshpool Branch. This role involves provide Supervision, coaching and mentoring to the Planning team. This role will provide support and advice to the Planning team and the Service Rebuild Advisors team in operational decisions, problem solving and escalations, whilst building and driving a culture that is safe, productive, and enjoyable.

Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Assign planning, scheduling and coordination resources to machine rebuilds as they progress from lead to confirmed opportunity.
  • Manage the Planning & Forecast shared mailbox, reviewing, delegating and assigning tasks daily.
  • Allocate build bays and locations and use planning tools to maintain the master schedule and rebuild pipeline.
  • Maintain a consolidated master plan, including rebuild opportunities, resource capacity, bay/branch utilisation and cross‑site planning alignment.
  • Oversee all planning and forecasting for the Machine Rebuilds cost centre, including 8‑week locked plans, detailed task lists and a rolling 12‑month forecast.
  • Provide planning insights and guidance to the Rebuilds Operations Support Manager to ensure future work is achievable and execution‑ready.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mining/Mechanical/Electrical) or Trade Qualification in a similar field (Desirable)
  • 5 - 7 years Supervision and Leadership Experience in a similar role
  • MEM Long Term Planning and Forecasting experience is essential. Requiring minimum 3 years
  • Experience with planning systems and tools (MS Project, Smart Sheet, Uptake) is essential
  • Proven time management skills
  • Sound conflict resolution and negotiation skills are a must for this role.
  • A team building skill set and the ability to network between teams effectively is essential
