About the Role
WesTrac is seeking an energetic and team-oriented individual to join our team at Tomago as a Leading Hand within our Track Shop.

 

As a Leading Hand, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our internal workshops and external customers. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the workshop and maintaining equipment, while also providing guidance and leadership to your team.

 

Roster & Remuneration

  • Monday-Friday (48 Hour week + rotating days/nights)
  • Roster Pattern: 5D2O x2 5N2O x2
  • Day shift: 05:30-16:00 & Night shift: 16:00-02:30 (10.5 HR Shifts)
  • Hourly rates UP TO $61.69 + OT $92.54
  • Annual earnings UP TO $155k + super*

Skills & Experience

As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills:

  • Leadership experience
  • Previous employment by an OEM will be highly regarded
  • Solutions focused mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Nationally accredited Forklift, Dogman, and Working at Height tickets is desirable
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is highly regarded
  • A welding or mining industry background will be highly regarded
