WIP Coordinator - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

About the Opportunity 

We have an opportunity for a highly organised WIP Coordinator to join our Hydraulics Workshop in Tomago on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Working closely with Workshop Supervisors, Technicians and customers, you'll be responsible for managing Work in Progress (WIP), ensuring jobs move efficiently through the workshop, are completed on time, and are invoiced accurately.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor schedules, costs and job status to ensure work orders are invoiced timely and accurately
  • Coordinate and monitor Work in Progress across the Hydraulics Workshop.
  • Produce WIP reporting and assist with forecasting activities.
  • Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders regarding job progress.
  • Support quoting, invoicing and warranty processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in an invoicing, coordination, administration or planning role within a workshop or industrial environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and comfort with large ERP/software systems.
  • Exposure to heavy equipment, hydraulics or mechanical services is advantageous.
