Trades Assistants – Multiple Workshop Opportunities

We’re seeking motivated Trades Assistants to join our team across a range of hands‑on roles in our Hydraulics, Machine Shop, General Construction and Component Rebuild Centre workshop roles. These positions support diverse workshop functions and are ideal for people who enjoy practical work, teamwork, and learning on the job in a safety‑focused, respectful environment.

About the Opportunities

Depending on the workshop you’re assigned to, duties may include:

  • Forklift operation – moving parts, components, and materials safely
  • Quality control assistance – helping with inspections and documentation
  • Parts running – delivering components to trades across the workshop
  • Maintaining clean and safe work areas

We have roles available across multiple teams, so day‑to‑day work may differ, but all positions are focused on supporting safe and efficient workshop operations.


What We’re Looking For

  • A valid forklift licence
  • Previous experience in a workshop, mechanical, machine shop, or similar environment
  • Reliable, safety‑conscious, and able to follow procedures
  • Strong communication skills and a team‑first attitude
  • Willingness to work across different teams and adapt to changing priorities


Roster & Hours

  • A range of roster options are available, including days, a mix of days and nights or mixed rotations to suit different lifestyles.
  • Start and finish times will vary based on the workshop you’re assigned to
