About the Opportunity
As the market leader of equipment solutions in the mining industry, WesTrac is focused on continuing to provide a best-in-class customer experience. In this newly created role in our Resource Industries division, the Regional Product Support Manager (internal title: Regional Site Manager) will be accountable for a portfolio of site-level customer relationship management activity. Additionally, you will lead a team focused on customer sites to ensure fleet availability and performance exceed customer expectations, growing and securing aftermarket sales opportunities.
This is a full-time role mainly based within the Hunter Valley and will involve regular travel to customer sites within the various NSW mining regions.
Key Accountabilities
· Manage onsite customer relationships with a portfolio of key customers across NSW
· Provide support and account management to customers with existing and new introduced fleets
· Develop and execute aftermarket sales and product strategy to win aftermarket sales within customer groups, specifically machine and component rebuilds, maintenance and wear parts, and services and solutions.
· Collaborate with peers within the business to support capital sales within your allocated customer group
· Lead a team comprised of technical and sales managers
· Ensure proactive focus on customer’s fleet performance with processes to capture issues and implement strategies to resolve to help customer’s fleets achieve targeted Top Tier metrics
· Position WesTrac as the preferred equipment solutions partner to secure aftermarket opportunities including component replacements and machine rebuilds
· Achievement of product support sales forecasts
About You
· Proven people and safety leadership capabilities
· Outstanding interpersonal skills with experience in CRM or account management or similar
· Demonstrated sales skillset with ability to increase market share and drive conversion
· Familiarity with/ knowledge of Caterpillar or similar products combined with a sound understanding of heavy mining equipment, total cost of ownership, key drivers and how they are influenced
· Professional with outstanding communication skills
· Ability to coach others for high performance and manage teams in changing environments
· Tertiary qualifications in business and/ or mechanical trade background will be looked upon favourably
· High level of computer literacy
