WesTrac is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join our fast‑paced Rebuilds Workshop in Tomago. This critical role ensures our rebuilt mining machines meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Working within one of the busiest areas of the business, you’ll work hands‑on with large‑scale CAT assets throughout the entire rebuild lifecycle - verifying components, assemblies, and completed builds against strict Caterpillar specifications. Rebuilds move quickly, with multiple stakeholders and tight project timelines, so exceptional attention to detail, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure are essential.

Your workmanship and commitment to quality will play a key role in returning major mining equipment to peak performance, all while working in a collaborative, safety‑focused workshop team.

If you thrive in high‑energy environments, take pride in precision work, and have experience with CAT equipment or heavy machinery, we’d love to hear from you!
