Are you a trade-qualified Plant Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Mechanic with CAT experience looking to step into a high-performance rebuilds environment?

 

Join our growing Rebuilds Workshop in Tomago, where you will be responsible for overhauling, repairing and diagnosing a wide range of surface mining equipment within a dedicated team. Delivering safe, high-quality machine rebuilds.

 

What we offer

  • Hourly rates FROM $53/hr to $55/hr & $80/hr to $83/hr overtime.

What We’re Looking For

  • Trade qualification: Plant Mechanic or Heavy Diesel/Vehicle Mechanic
  • Experience with heavy equipment maintenance like graders, off‑highway trucks (789, 793, 777), dozers (D10, D11), surface drills & auxiliary equipment.
  • Mining, rebuild or diagnostics exposure.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Commitment to safe work practices.
  • Experience with CAT Service information system (SIS) advantageous.

 

Roster Options

We offer a roster that suits your lifestyle and long-term career goals:

1. Monday to Friday – Rotating Days/Nights

  • 50-hour week
  • Roster: 5D2O x2, 5N2O x2
  • Day: 06:00–16:30 / Night: 18:00–02:30

 

2. Lifestyle Roster – Work Only Half the Year

  • Work 15 days out of every 28
  • Roster: 5D4O, 5N4O
  • Day: 06:00–18:30 \ Night: 18:00–06:30
