ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Up to $55.26/hr + OT | Lifestyle roster available | Tomago workshop
Join WesTrac’s Tomago CAT workshops (Rebuilds & GCON) and work on some of the biggest mining and construction gear in the industry.
We’re looking for trade-qualified Plant / Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join high-performing teams across machine rebuilds, maintenance and diagnostics.
- $55–$82 +/hr + OT, paid fortnightly
- Lifestyle roster available (work half the year)
- Modern CAT workshops – rebuilds & field-leading equipment
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Maintain, repair and diagnose CAT machinery
- Work across rebuilds, component overhauls and heavy maintenance
- Perform fault finding to keep equipment running at peak performance
- Support rebuild lifecycle (Rebuilds) or service & breakdown work (GCON)
- Work safely and efficiently in a high-performing team
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Trade qualification (Plant / Heavy Diesel / HV)
- Experience on heavy equipment or mobile plant
- Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
- Safety-first mindset with solid work ethic
- Ability to work independently and in a team
ROSTERS AVAILABLE
Monday – Friday (GCON & Rebuilds)
- 50-hour week | Rotating days & nights
Lifestyle Roster (Rebuilds only)
- 5D4O, 5N4O | 12.5-hour shifts
- Work half the year
