About the role

 

We are currently seeking an energetic and result driven Parts Interpreter's to join our Customer Service team, based at our Tomago Branch.

 

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing a high level of technical product advice to key stakeholders. You will be a highly motivated and proactive individual who thrives in a challenging fast paced role and is passionate about customer experience.

 

This role is responsible for interpreting parts and customer needs, the sale of and expediting of parts, fielding general enquiries, and capturing all new machine sales opportunities in CRM.

 

This role will see the successful candidates working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. 

 

(Internal position title – Customer Service Representative).  

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • You will be the first point of contact for all customers parts orders and aftermarket solutions
  • Parts interpretation
  • Stock management
  • Customer follow up enquiries and quotes
  • Inbound order call management
  • Data processing
  • Retail and Eftpos Sales

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Previous experience in a high-level parts interpretation and/or customer service role (preferably in a technical/industrial environment)
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills – MS Office and internet-based applications
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) with the ability to effectively liaise with customers and a diverse range of interdepartmental team members
  • Positive attitude and passion to deliver the best outcome for the customer every time
  • An aptitude and interest in technical/industrial products/services
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar processes or equipment would be highly regarded however not essential
