Hydraulic Fitter - Tomago

 

 

WesTrac is seeking experienced Hydraulic Fitters to join the team at Tomago. Our Hydraulics Workshop cater to internal workshops and external customers across NSW & ACT. With Fitter Machinists, Plant Mechanics, Trades Assistants and Support Staff, the workshop offers servicing, repairs, and maintenance on hydraulic components from an array of Caterpillar machines. This role will see you utilising your knowledge and experience to complete overhauls on hydraulic components such as cylinders, valves, and accumulators from both surface and underground mining equipment.

 

Roster & remuneration 

  • Monday – Friday role
  • 2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nights on rotation
  • Early finish Fridays!
  • Hourly rates from $47.23+
  • Overtime rates from $70.85+

*Above rates are a guide; each candidate will be assessed on skill and experience*
 

Skills & Experience

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification essential
  • Experience overhauling Piston Pumps and Motors is highly regarded
  • Sound working knowledge of Caterpillar equipment
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Strong communication skills
