Our Hydraulic Workshop is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Team Lead to showcase their premium talent both on the tools, and within the people management space.

Our Hydraulics Workshop cater to internal workshops and external customers across NSW & ACT. Mechanical aspects of this role include overhauls on hydraulic components such as cylinders, valves, and accumulators from both surface and underground mining equipment. As a Team Lead you will be responsible for the guidance and success of less experienced staff. Additionally, you will set the tone and the collaborative culture within the workshop, and champion Westrac’s key business objectives.    Roster & remuneration

  • Monday - Friday role
  • 2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nights on rotation
  • Early finish Fridays!
  • Annual earnings up to $155,000k
  • *Above rates are a guide; each candidate will be assessed on skill and experience*

 

   Skills & Experience

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification essential
  • Experience overhauling a range of Hydraulic components
  • Piston Pump and Motor experience highly regarded
  • Sound working knowledge of Caterpillar equipment
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role
  • Proactive approach with a drive for continuous improvement
