About the role

Due to continued growth, our Tomago Branch are seeking skilled Field Service Line Borers to join our team and help us service ongoing demands.

Reporting to our Field Service Supervisor, this role will see you utilising your ability to interpret engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances to ensure all components are produced to a high standard.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Working safely and in accordance with company procedures & protocols.
  • Inspecting, accurate measuring, and determining if machine bores are serviceable or require reclaim.
  • Completing of all relevant safety & quality assurance documentation.
  • Reclaiming bores & faces across a large model range of predominantly CAT machinery.
  • Delivering high quality work to specified standards, sizes and finishes.

 

Roster & Remuneration

  • Roster Pattern: 5D2O x2 5N2O x2
  • Monday to Thursday 10.5 hour shifts, Friday 8.5 hour shifts
  • Hourly Rates starting from $53.94+
  • Overtime Rate starting from $80.91+
  • Overtime is paid once an employee works over 50 hours

 

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant Trade Certificate(s) – Mechanical Trade
  • HV – Medium Rigid Drivers Licence
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of welding, machining, and reclamation solutions
  • Exceptional safety standards and compliance with company procedures & protocols.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work both dynamically and overtime hours as required to meet job deadlines & competing demands.
  • Willingness to travel with overnight stays as determined by job location and size.
  • Ability to consistently deliver work of a high standard within set time frames and with minimal supervision.
  • Have a positive “can do” attitude with the ability and initiative to problem solve on the job.
  • Be a respectful, dependable, and active member of our line bore team. With a willingness to knowledge share, train others and contribute to the continual growth and improvement of the business.
