We’re on the lookout for a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to help design and deliver certified, safe, and legally compliant engineered solutions that support both internal operations and our valued external customers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing innovative electrical solutions that meet technical specifications and exceed customer expectations.
- Developing and certifying workshop equipment and tooling that meets the highest safety and compliance standards.
- Leveraging WesTrac’s Dealer Provided Options (DPOs) to streamline build timelines and deliver tailored solutions.
- Collaborating with a passionate team of engineers and stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
Skills and Experience
- Electrical Engineering Degree with post qualification experience within a heavy/industrial background.
- Strong computer proficiency, desirable experience including AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCad Electrical/Mechanical Inventor.
- Demonstrated ability to produce manual design calculations and engineering documentation to a professional standard.
- Understanding of Australian and International design standards and guidelines.
- Experience with Low Voltage vehicle electrical systems and High Voltage (HV) systems for mobile plant.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Experience conducting safety and risk assessments with a focus on ensuring safety is a priority.
