Customer Coordinator – 12 month Fixed-Term Contract
About the Opportunity
Our Hydraulics workshop is seeking a Customer Coordinator to join their team, on a full-time 12-month fixed term basis working Monday-Friday at our head office in Tomago. This opportunity has potential to act as a pathway towards further opportunities.
As the Customer Coordinator, you will be responsible for aligning workshop goals with customer requirements to promote and build positive relationships leading to successful outcomes for the customer and WesTrac. The successful applicant will be the primary point of contact between the workshop and our internal and external customers. This point of contact will lead to jobs being efficiently scheduled, priced, and invoiced. The chosen candidate will ensure customer needs are met and services are completed within the agreed upon timeframe.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for job progress updates and completion of work, leading to the development of effective working relationships
- Ensure all customer repair, delivery, and expectation requirements are communicated to the workshop, resulting in accurate completion times and quotations
- Communicate with the workshop and sales teams to provide repair service solutions to customers
- Oversee ongoing work to ensure it is being completed within the agreed timeframe, while maintaining ongoing communication with the customer about job progress
- Ensure all work orders are efficiently invoiced and processed
Skills and Experience
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to develop strong positive relationships with customers
- Ability to problem solve whilst having well-developed analytical & negotiation skills
- Excellent organisation skills with ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities at once
- Ability to work successfully in a team & individually, whilst developing strong working relationships
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Computer literacy skills- MS Office
- Previous experience within the hydraulic and/or engineering industry is highly regarded
