About the role
Our Resources Industry Team is seeking a Condition Monitoring Analyst to join their team on a Monday-Friday full-time basis, based on-site at our Tomago facility. This position may involve some travel to Hunter Valley customer sites as required.
As a Condition Monitoring Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering a wide range of asset health and condition monitoring data to administer complete analysis data to identify asset health issues across a range of CAT fleets. The successful applicant will provide detailed recommendations to help customers lower owning and operating costs, improve availability, and reduce warranty costs. In addition, this role will create reports on asset health and provide information to support customers in maintenance decisions. This role will aim to decrease asset downtime and improve asset performance through delivering effective condition monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Remotely monitor and analyse a wide range of asset health and condition monitoring data to identify health issues for CAT machines.
- Use enabling software tools & systems to analyse and prioritise condition monitoring data inputs.
- Recommend actionable outcomes for customer-facing teams and generate leads after machine review.
- Prepare customer reports to promote the value of condition monitoring processes.
- Ensure connected assets are maintained through effective monitoring systems and processes.
- Utilise systems to review and maintain the connection of assets.
- Provide support and mentoring to stakeholders and customers on best practices and optimal applications for their CAT asset health needs.
Skills & Experience
- Qualification in a mechanical or engineering discipline or mechanical trade is desirable.
- Previous experience in asset health, condition monitoring or earthmoving equipment performance is desirable.
- Capacity to read and interpret data, including the ability to review and report on trends.
- Highly developed attention to detail with the ability to analyse information and provide reports.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to develop strong positive relationships with customers.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
