About the WesTrac Component Technician Program
Looking for an alternative to an apprenticeship? Our Component Rebuild Centre (CRC) in Tomago is opening applications for motivated individuals to join a structured 2‑year program blending hands‑on learning with formal accredited training—all while being paid full-time.

As a WesTrac Component Technician, you will learn how to:
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of engines and powertrains
- Support rebuild activities that keep our customers operating
- Maintain safe work practices at all times
- Collaborate with your crew to meet deadlines and deliver high‑quality results
About you:
- Must be 18 years or older by December 2026
- Australian working rights (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- Strong communication, reading and writing skills
- Genuine interest in mechanical trades, machinery or hands-on learning
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport (or close to obtaining one) with ability to travel to work and training
- Honest, reliable and dependable
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
