About the role

Our Digital Excellence & Growth team is seeking a Change Specialist to join their team on a full-time maximum term basis, ending in August 2025.  This role will be based at our head office in Tomago, working Monday-Friday. This opportunity has potential to act as a pathway towards further opportunities.

As the Change Specialist, you will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and areas of the business to provide advice and support on change management. Supporting the Digital Excellence & Growth Team, you will focus on optimising the success, adoption and sustainability of a variety of projects and initiatives through implementation of suggested advice and support.

This role will support organisational growth and development through actively engaging with stakeholders to design and deliver change and management planning initiatives. With a focus on embedding and implementing digital projects, the Change Specialist will ensure positive adoption of change across the business, leading to constructive collaboration and culture enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective change plans through identifying and understanding needs and expectations
  • Facilitate successful change implementation by evaluating the effects of proposed changes on individuals, systems and processes
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and implement change management plans that achieve continuous business goals, with a focus on long-term vision and shared objectives
  • Ensure change management advice, support and activities are effectively delivered within business needs and enables programs, projects and initiatives to be implemented successfully
  •  Support implementation and embedment of changes through development and recommendation of tools and resources 
  • Positively influence employee engagement and culture around change management through collaboration with internal stakeholders

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Business or similar essential
  • Qualifications in Change Management desirable
  • Knowledge of change models and change frameworks desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in a large, complex organisation as a change specialist or in organisational development desirable
  • Excellent communication skills with well-developed collaboration & negotiation skills
  • Well-developed analytical skills with ability to assess situations, leading to the identification of impacts of changes
  • Excellent organisation skills with ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities at once
  • Advanced computer literacy skills- MS Office Suite
  • Demonstrated experience in development and execution of change plans including creation and distribution of resources and training
  • Continuous improvement mindset with ability to resolve current issues
