About the role

With a robust forecast of work in our New Machines workshop you will play a crucial role in the construction, assembly, and repair of metal structures and CAT equipment using various welding and metalwork techniques.

We are seeking candidates who are keen to learn, be a part of a team and most of all are reliable, driven and hardworking. Our projects are long-term, and we require people who are seeking consistent work and are invested in their own development.

 

Roster and Remuneration

  • Monday-Friday (48-hour week + rotating days/nights)
  • Roster Pattern: 5D2O x2 5N2O x2
  • Shift Times: Days: 6:00AM – 16:30PM & Nights: 16:00PM - 02:30AM
  • Hourly rates UP TO $55.87 + OT $83.81*
  • Delayed starts available!

**The above rates are a guide; each candidate will be assessed on skills and experience**

What we’re looking for

  • Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication (Australian Trade recognised).
  • Experience in OXY/Thermal processes: cutting, heating, and thermal lancing.
  • Proficient in MIG welding (multiple wire applications needed).
  • Experience in mobile plant builds will be highly regarded.
  • Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements.
  • Safety-focused mindset.
  • Able to read, interpret, and manufacture from engineering drawings
