Reporting to a Field Service Supervisor, the motivated Field Service Heavy Diesel Mechanic will carry out warranty and customer repairs on a range of CAT machinery and associated products in a timely and efficient manner, You will also be required to carry out field service work on a regular basis based out of Tom Price Branch, The variety of equipment you will be working on includes D10 and D11 Dozers, 992 Wheel Loaders, 24M Graders and a wide range of models of Off Highway Trucks (777F – 793F). This work will be completed in a collaborative, team environment with a strong focus on safety.
Location: Tom Price - FIFO from Perth (will also look at interstate applicants).
Residential options may also be available for the right candidate whereas full housing may be provided.
Roster: Various roster options include:
14 days on, 7 days off - 2/1
14 days on, 14 days off - 2/2
12 days on, 9 days off - 12/9
Over-time available and some adhoc nights - 10 or 12 hour contracts
To be successful the following is required:
• Australian-recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with post trade experience (Mobile Plant Certificate)
• Previous Field Service experience - Diagnostics and Maintenance
• Truck license - Min LR - HR and MR preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
• Heavy equipment product knowledge - Component change out experience seen as advantageous
