About the role

WesTrac Tamworth are looking for a motivated individual to join our diverse team as a Warehouse Operator. No pick/pack experience is required – just bring your can-do attitude and willingness to learn. Thrive in a team environment? We want to hear from you!

 

Forklift skills are a bonus but not essential.

 

Roster and Remuneration

  • 2-weekly roster rotation
    • Week 1, Monday - Friday 05:00AM - 3:30PM
    • Week 2, Monday - Friday 06:30AM - 5:00PM
  • Hourly rates UP TO $30.64 + OT 45.96
  • Annual earnings UP TO $80k + Super

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle receipts, storage, and dispatch of parts and equipment.
  • Inspect and verify incoming deliveries with attention to detail.
  • Organise and catalogue items to optimise storage capacity.
  • Prepare and pack orders accurately for timely dispatch.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the success of our top-quality products and services.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Sound computer skills (highly desirable)
  • Ability to work overtime when required
  • Sound working knowledge of Caterpillar is desired, but not essential
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Previous warehouse experience (desirable)
  • Forklift License (desirable)
