Plant Mechanic | Tamworth Workshop

WesTrac Tamworth is looking for experienced Plant or Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join their skilled team based in their workshop.

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will utilise your mechanical expertise to inspect, maintain, and repair a range of Caterpillar equipment. Focusing on safety, you will work alongside a skilled team of technicians to ensure our customers get the most from their machines and ensure minimal machine downtime.

Roster and Remuneration

• Roster: Monday to Friday, 10.5-hour shifts
• Shift Times: 06:00AM to 16:30PM
• Potential annual earning from $110k + Super

Skills & Experience

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
• Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment
• OEM Experience (highly desirable)
• Exposure to SIS or ET (highly desirable)
• Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously in the field and in a team
• Current drivers licence
