Field Service Mechanic | Tamworth
WesTrac Tamworth is looking for experienced Field Service Plant or Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join their skilled team.
Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will provide diagnostic support to a range of CAT machinery and ensure that all repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections meet Caterpillar standards. Using your CAT expertise, you will guarantee work is conducted to a high level with a safety-conscious mindset and ensure breakdown solutions result in minimal downtime of machines.

Roster and Remuneration
- Roster: 12.5-Hour Shifts, 7/7 (4 days on, 3 nights on, 7 off)
- Shift Times: Day Shift 06:00AM to 18:30PM / Night Shift 18:00PM to 06:30AM
- Potential annual earning between $130k - $150k + Super

Skills & Experience
- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
- Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment
- OEM Experience (highly desirable)
- Exposure to SIS or ET (highly desirable)
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure deliveries are made on time and to customer standard
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously in the field and in a team
- Current drivers licence
