About the role

WesTrac is seeking a Planner to join the team at Casula! We have exciting opportunities available for both a 12-month maternity leave contract and a permanent full-time position.

 

Reporting to the Branch Manager and supporting the Workshop Supervisors this role will require you to use proactive methods of data collection, analysis and tracking to schedule and plan workload in line with resources and agreed timelines.  You will facilitate better velocity and reduced cost while having a positive impact on customer satisfaction.

 

You will use your ability to absorb technical information to create demand planning reports to ensure peaks and troughs can be managed effectively.  Your communication skills will be utilised between internal and external stakeholders regarding job requirements, parts requirements, job and technician status, seeking feedback and providing follow-up post completion of job.

 

You will have a proactive approach to your work with demonstrated experience working in high performing teams and have a methodical approach to problem solving to reduce backorder delays and drive efficiency to achieve DIFOT.

Skills & Experience

  • Planning experience in a manufacturing or transportation environment (desirable)
  • Demonstrate knowledge in working and understanding Equipment Maintenance and planning concepts.
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal
  • Practical experience in mobile equipment maintenance planning and scheduling (desirable)
  • Computer skills and experience using Microsoft office products and adaptability to learn new programs.
  • Proven ability to relate well and build productive working relationships with people at all levels.
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, planning and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated abilities to be able to problem solve and offer solutions.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
