Join WesTrac as a Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) – Sydney Region
We’re seeking a customer‑focused, solutions‑driven sales professional to join our PSSR team and grow our customer base across the Sydney region.
Reporting to the CI Aftermarket Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in identifying aftermarket service and parts opportunities that enhance the customer experience and strengthen long‑term partnerships. Leveraging your WesTrac knowledge and strong customer relationships, you’ll promote parts, service offerings, and tailored Customer Value Agreements (CVAs) that help our customers maximise the value of their CAT equipment.
You will work closely with internal teams across Operations, Finance, Credit, and Contracts to ensure quoting accuracy, seamless service delivery, and an exceptional end‑to‑end experience for every customer. Your responsibilities also include CRM management, forecasting, and maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
This role involves travelling across the Sydney region 3 to 4 days per week, supported by a company vehicle. When not on the road, you’ll be based at our Sydney branch. This is a full‑time, permanent role, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with assigned customers to uncover aftermarket parts and service opportunities
- Promote and deliver WesTrac’s full range of product support solutions to achieve revenue, gross profit, and growth targets
- Drive customer retention by delivering tailored Customer Value Agreements (CVAs)
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data within IDS/CRM and other systems
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations using Part & Service Quoter (PSQ)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Credit and Contracts to ensure exceptional service delivery
- Act as a trusted adviser, helping customers optimise the performance, reliability and lifecycle of their CAT equipment
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and/or previous experience with account management
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to develop strong relationships
- Well-developed analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Current driver's licence and the ability and willingness to travel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team
- Computer literacy skills – MS Office and Sales
- Caterpillar product knowledge and experience highly regarded
