WesTrac is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our onsite team at Ravensworth. This is a hands‑on mining role working with industry‑leading CAT® machinery, where safety, teamwork, and reliability are key.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Diagnosing, maintaining & repairing electrical systems on CAT® mobile plant
  • Fault finding across machine control systems, sensors & wiring
  • Supporting preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
  • Working safely within site and OEM standards
  • Collaborating with mechanical and site teams

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Automotive Electrical Trade Qualification (COP highly regarded)
  • Experience with CAT systems, SIS, ET and VIMS.
  • Experience in mining or heavy equipment environments
  • Strong diagnostic & troubleshooting capability
  • Mobile plant experience (highly regarded)
  • MDG25, Working at Heights, Glencore Induction (desirable)
