About Port Hedland
Our Field Service team in Port Hedland assist in repairing and maintaining Caterpillar equipment from large mining machinery to marine equipment, whilst strengthening ongoing relationships with multiple customers.  

 

Roster: 
2/1 - 14 days, 7 off – (10 or 12-hours each day + Overtime if needed)
12/9 - 12 days, 9 off - (10 or 12-hours each day + Overtime if needed)
10/4 – 10 days, 4 off – (10 hours each day + Overtime if needed)
We will look at interstate candidates on a 2/2 roster (flights from major cities to Perth covered) 

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Visiting customer sites to diagnose faults on Caterpillar equipment 
  • Carrying out repairs, maintenance and servicing of mining and marine machinery  
  • Managing Work Orders
  • Carry out Product Improvement Plans and Product Support Programs 
  • Maintaining and operating a safe work environment 
  • Assisting the Customer to achieve machine availability and reliability KPI’s

Skills & Experience: 

  • Australian recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with post trade experience (Field Service) is essential
  • Driver’s License and LR license required (as a minimum) is essential
  • HRWL (i.e. LF, DG, WP) & Working at Heights
  • Refrigerant Handling License (Preferred but not essential) 
  • Caterpillar Mining Machinery and Marine equipment experience
  • Extensive diagnostic and fault-finding skills through CAT SIS & CAT ET
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in an isolated and remote environment in a team and individually 
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement principles
