Reporting into the MineStar Performance and Support Manager, the Technical Product Specialist Supervisor will join our MineStar Performance and Support team on a Full-Time basis at our Perth Airport Branch. The TPS Supervisor is responsible for the performance and supervision of the specialist support teams, our Technical Product Specialists (TPS) and our MineStar Support Advisors, along with Customer Capability Management of the Technology Product suite.

The TPS Supervisor ensures the successful delivery of technical value add outcomes to internal and external customers. This includes product problem management, the continuous improvement of existing Technology products and introduction of new technology products in conjunction with Caterpillar.  The role and the team are key contributors to the successful introduction and ongoing support of Technology products in WA.

Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours/ day (including meal break)

 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide strong, visible leadership through coaching, managing talent and performance, planning development opportunities, and ensuring the team is well-staffed.
  • Assign expert technical staff to resolve customer technology issues and boost skills within the MineStar team.
  • Make sure Minestar support teams have enough people to handle customer issues effectively through both first-level and advanced support processes.
  • Support successful delivery of new technology products and adoption with customers.
  • Manage technical support to deliver meaningful benefits to both customers and internal teams.
  • Review team performance in supporting customers and identify ways to improve service and business outcomes.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate diverse teams and manage competing priorities in high-pressure environments.
  • 3–5 years in a technical or technology role, ideally including 2–3 years on a mine site; familiarity with Cat Mining Technology and systems like DBSi, SiS, and MineStar is a bonus.
  • Strong understanding of mining technology’s benefits, particularly in improving safety, operations, and maintenance.
  • Well-developed technical skills, including knowledge of equipment solutions, IT systems, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
