As a member of the Construction Industry Aftermarket Services Team, you will report to the Area Manager and be responsible for machine inspections, providing preliminary and final scopes of work, estimates, part listings, and information to relevant stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient equipment rebuilds. Your duties will involve learning and reviewing current processes and systems to propose changes and improvements to empower Perth Branch to capitalise on market opportunities. Entrepreneurial mindset and influencing skills will be essential for success in this role.

 

 

Roster:  5 days on 2 days off (Mon – Fri) 10H

Location: Perth Branch, WA

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Maintain and manage the Leads and Opportunities Register
  • Review and understand customer scopes of work, including having pre-qualifying conversations
  • Prepare initial and final scopes of work and estimates
  • Perform onsite machine inspection to remove unplanned variations
  • Provide variation scope of work and quotations as needed
  • Work with other technical and product experts to achieve improved outcomes
  • Provide regular stakeholder updates

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Trade Qualification or similar in the field of Plant Mechanics
  • Leadership Experience (minimum 3 years)
  • MEM experience with the Caterpillar product is a must for this role. Minimum 3 years
  • Experience with pricing and planning systems and tools (Smart Sheet, Excel) is essential
  • Proven prioritisation and time management skills
  • Sound conflict resolution and negotiation skills are a must for this role.
  • A team building skill set and the ability to network between teams effectively is essential
