Reporting into the MineStar Implementation Manager, the Project Manager will join our Technology Department on a Full-Time basis at our Perth Airport Branch. This role is responsible for overseeing the deployment of advanced technology solutions for mining clients, focusing on complex, high-priority projects. This role manages the implementation from post-sale through completion, ensuring alignment with WesTrac’s standards by coordinating with internal teams, Caterpillar, vendors, and customer stakeholders.

Roster: Monday to Friday 8.5 hours/day (including meal break) 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Project Design & Planning – Prepare technical specifications and documentation in line with WesTrac standards, ensuring effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technology Project Management – Lead technical workshops and define project solutions based on stakeholder requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Facilitate regular communication to monitor progress, provide updates, and resolve issues.
  • Continuous Improvement – Identify and implement approved process enhancements to improve project delivery.

 

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation to a high standard
  • Experience with application of various project management methodologies
  • Strong risk management skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution
  • Experience leading project teams and coordinating internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and relevant technology applications
  • Strong time management, ability to work independently and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
