Product Manager - BCP and Worktools

Reporting into Product and Aftermarket Solutions Manager, the BCP & Work tools Product Manager will join our team on a Full-Time basis at our Perth Airport Branch. This role involves managing and achieving sales growth and profitability of Building Construction Products and Work tools.

Roster: Monday – Friday – 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)

 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and execute Go to Market strategies including market share, local options, training, and new product introductions
  • Lead BCP and Work tool strategies, support sales with product positioning, launches, customer application and Caterpillar product interaction.
  • Support sales team with client relationships and educate team on product specs, technology, applications, and limitations
  • Assist in machine inventory reviews and validate order planning using lead generation insights.
  • Plan and manage Work tools inventory for both sales and aftermarket opportunities including set up of standard offers.
  • Collaborate on marketing projects, attend industry events, and support WesTrac sales initiatives, both product and solutions.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in a related field of Commercial, Marketing, Business, Engineering or In-depth business experience in relevant product and industry
  • SME in Construction Industry and product application 
  • Experience with an OEM in Product management or Industry related field, experience in project delivery, product and account management or technical sales role.
  • Strong, demonstrated collaboration and relationship management skills
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies
