Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you’ll gain hands-on experience with powertrain overhauls, machine dismantling and rebuilds, undercarriage repairs, and radiator servicing all within our state-of-the-art, all-in-one branch.

Roster: 5 days on, 2 days off (10-hour shifts + 30-minute break)

What You’ll Do

• Complete rebuilds and overhauls on Caterpillar heavy earthmoving equipment and non-Caterpillar machinery.
• Perform machine dismantling, undercarriage repairs, and radiator servicing.
• Strictly adhere to WesTrac’s industry-leading safety protocols, including PPE usage and hazard reporting.

What We’re Looking For

• Australian-recognised mechnical trade certificate.
• Experience working on the CAT products
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with service reporting and technical literature.
• Heavy equipment product knowledge with component change-out and overhaul experience (desired).
• Alignment with WesTrac’s SPARC values.
