Join WesTrac’s Perth Branch as a Marine & Genset Field Service Plant Mechanic and put your expertise to work on world‑class Caterpillar and marine equipment.
Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, this role offers the opportunity to deliver critical warranty, maintenance, and overhaul support across Perth and surrounding regions.
You’ll be part of a respected, safety‑driven team that prides itself on innovation, reliability, and helping customers achieve peak operational performance.

 

Rosters on Offer: 5 days on, 2 days off (10 hours each day plus 30 mins. break)

 What You’ll Do: 

  • Identify, troubleshoot and repair problems in Caterpillar and Marine equipment using diagnostic tools
  • Reassemble and test completed work to ensure the fault has been fixed
  • Provide efficient and consistent service to our customers


Skills & Experience: 

  • Australian recognised Plant mechanic/Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade certificate
  • 5 years post trade experience with supporting various Caterpillar and Marine equipment
  • Demonstrated ability working in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate technical requirements with customers
  • Drivers license – MR or above desirable
