Plant Mechanic - Field Service

Reporting into the Field Service Supervisor, the Field Service Plant Mechanic will join our Perth Branch on a Full Time Basis. This role involves supporting warranty and maintenance of all Caterpillar products within the Perth and surrounding areas.

Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative, reliable, and efficient Caterpillar equipment and service to enhance operational productivity and safety.

 

Rosters on Offer: 9/5 - 9 days on, 5 days off (10 hours each day plus 30 mins. break)

 

 What You’ll Do: 

  • Identify, troubleshoot and repair problems in Caterpillar equipment using diagnostic tools
  • Reassemble and test completed work to ensure the fault has been fixed
  • Provide efficient and consistent service to our customers


Skills & Experience: 

  • Australian recognised trade certfificate
  • 2-3 years post trade experience
  • Demonstrated ability working in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate technical requirements with customers
  • Caterpillar equipment knowledge
  • Dirivers license – MR or above desirable
