Parts Interpreter
Perth Precinct, WA, AU
Reporting to the Parts Supervisor, this full-time role at our Perth branch involves handling customer orders and enquiries with a strong focus on customer service. Because customer service is a key part of this role, we’re looking for someone with a positive, proactive attitude, keen attention to detail, and strong skills in quality and compliance. On-the-job training is provided so you’ll be fully supported in using the systems needed to process orders.
Roster: Rotating roster bi-weekly
Week 1: Monday - Friday 10.5 hours (including meal break) Sat 10 hours (including meal break)
Week 2: Tues – Friday 10.5 hours (including meal break)
Location: Perth Precinct
What you’ll do:
- Interpret customer parts needs and supply or order required components
- Support technicians and manage parts receival/delivery
- Maintain accurate inventory records, pricing updates, and stock control
- Handle supplier queries, returns, discrepancies, and Missing Masters issues
- Assist with budgets, sales opportunities, and overall parts operations
Skills and Interests:
- Comfortable with computers and able to learn new platforms or databases quickly
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills; proactive in supporting customer and stakeholder needs
- Enthusiastic about the machinery and mechanical field, eager to develop knowledge and skills
- Confident providing customer service through face-to-face, phone, and email interactions
- Accurate and detail-focused when sourcing and matching parts
- Organised and capable of multitasking effectively in fast-paced, high-volume settings
