Operations Supervisor

Reporting into the Area Manager – Customer Service and Logistics, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and effective operations of the logistics, Facility upkeep, wash pad facilities and tool store at the Perth Branch
Roster: Mon – Fri, 10.5 hours per day (including unpaid meal breaks)
Location: Perth Airport, WA
What you’ll do:
- Lead by example, consistently demonstrating company values through actions, decisions, and behaviour
- Oversee tool store and material handling operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and alignment with strategic objectives
- Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations for all inbound and outbound logistics movements
- Develop team capability in materials handling, including safe and effective loading and unloading of machines and parts
- Provide operational support to service teams, including tool delivery, machine inventory management, and crane operations
- Manage tool store inventory, calibration, and storage practices, driving continuous improvement and service quality
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and foster accountability to meet performance targets and operational goals
- Recruit, coach, and mentor team members to build a skilled, motivated, and high-performing workforce
Skills and Experience:
- Certificate IV or higher qualification in Leadership, Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in operations or warehouse leadership roles
- Proven ability to analyse data across multiple systems and platforms
- Experience interpreting CAT systems and managing order tracking to meet stakeholder expectations
- Strong conflict resolution skills with a track record of handling challenging situations effectively
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal capability
- High-level proficiency in MS Office Suite and internet-based applications
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability with a focus on meeting internal and external customer needs
- Excellent time management and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
