As a MineStar Support Advisor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for MineStar systems, maintaining positive relationships with customers, the Caterpillar support team, and tracking solution metrics. Your role is crucial in aligning with WesTrac’s Customer Performance Teams objectives to enhance the post-sale customer experience. You will support MineStar Support Team in refining support processes and improving outcomes, ensuring a robust and repeatable customer experience throughout the MineStar product support lifecycle.

 

Location: Anderson Place, Perth Precinct

Roster: Monday – Friday, 8hrs/day Permanent, Full-Time)

 

To be successful the following is required: 

 

  • Tertiary qualification in an IT or technology-related field, with a background in software or computer science.
  • Minimum 2 years’ industry experience in a customer focused application support role.
  • Demonstrated passion for and commitment to building strong customer relationships.
  • Able to effectively assess, prioritise and escalate issues and solutions.
  • High level problem-solving skills with the ability to follow through required actions to resolution.
  • Confidently apply advanced communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) within all tasks, including weekly meetings with Tier 1 mining customers and Caterpillar representatives.
  • Ability to build and maintain successful working relationships across a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines.
  • Highly developed attention to detail when dealing with high volumes of data across multiple systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, autonomously and / or remotely, across multiple sites.
  • Strong understanding of and commitment to HSE policies and procedures.

 

Non-essential but desirable experience or knowledge: 

 

  • Experience in Construction, Mining or related industries, with operational knowledge desirable.
  • Knowledge and understanding of WesTrac / Caterpillar technology products, including mining technologies is advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of QMS systems and their implementation.
