Join us as a MineStar Solutions Specialist and play a key role in shaping the future of mining technology at our Perth Precinct. In this full‑time role, you’ll drive business development initiatives and lead commercial, tender, and sales engagements for MineStar Technologies. You’ll collaborate closely with customers to deliver innovative, interoperable solutions that align with their operational goals—maximising value, strengthening WesTrac’s commercial success, and accelerating the growth of our emerging technology offerings.

 

Roster – Monday - Friday, 8.5 Hrs/Day (including meal break)

 

What You'll Do:

  • Lead by example by living WesTrac’s SPARC values and ensuring full compliance with safety, cultural and Life Saving commitments.
  • Manage end‑to‑end Technology sales contracts including development of customer value propositions aligned to strategic goals and desired technology outcomes for our Customers
  • Build strong customer focused relationships and drive consultative sales in collaboration with Mining Account Management team
  • Incorporate product roadmaps into solution designs to ensure future‑ready outcomes
  • Provide accurate and timely sales pipeline insights to internal stakeholders
  • Define and handover clear project scopes to enable smooth operational and project execution
  • Act as a subject matter expert, offering guidance on products, technical solutions, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholder

 

 

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary or trade qualification with 5+ years in mining or similar industry within a technical or technology role,
  • Solid knowledge of mining technology product and information systems with the ability to interpret and understand commercial/financial impacts.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships, negotiate effectively, manage risks and engage confidently with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong problem‑solver with initiative and the ability to manage competing priorities; familiarity with Caterpillar, MineStar and WesTrac systems is an advantage
