The Maintenance Planner is responsible for effectively scheduling and coordinating the Repairs Workshop’s activities. This role requires close collaboration with the customer service department and workshop teams to ensure that all service repairs and customer-specific projects are carefully planned and executed. Key duties include coordinating resources such as build bays, tools, external supplies, parts, and labour to ensure schedules are met and align with customer expectations.

 

Location:  Perth Branch - Reid Rd, Airport, WA 
Roster: 5/2 10hrs 

 

To be successful the following is required: 
•    Mechanical Trade Certificate (or equivalent) with 2+ years in maintenance planning/scheduling
•    High-level customer service skills, understanding customer requirements, and negotiating solutions with stakeholders.
•    Advanced planning and organizational skills, managing multiple priorities to meet objectives.
•    Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
•    Previous work order management experience.
•    Intermediate computer literacy skills in MS Office Suite (Excel and Project Management), with ability to compile detailed Gantt Charts.
•    Knowledge and experience with Caterpillar products and information systems (e.g., Builder File, SIS, CAT Corporate Web Security, AMT, Dealer Business System)
