Machine Control and Guidance Technician

Reporting to our Technology Supervisors, as a Machine Control Guidance Technician, you’ll be at the forefront of installing and supporting MineStar Technology products.

 

Successful candidates will receive comprehensive on-the-job training at our WesTrac Facilities during the initial onboarding period. Once competencies are achieved, you will have the opportunity to explore various Perth Metro and regional locations tailored to operational needs.

 

With industry-leading training, clear progression routes, and a supportive team that values innovation, this is a great opportunity to become a subject matter expert on a cutting-edge suite of mining technology solutions.

 

Roster: 4:3 Monday-Thursday, 10-hour days inclusive of lunch break for the onboarding period.

5:2, 8:6, 7:7, 4:3 after the onboarding period subject to the operational needs of the business.

 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Install harnessing and guidance components on equipment.
  • Configure radios, GPS antennas, cameras, routers and screens.
  • Commissioning guidance and detection systems.
  • Liaise with clients about the performance of Minestar products. Maintain and upkeep Minestar products to clients needs.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • C Class manual driver’s licence
  • Proficiency in both technical and administrative documentation
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Positive attitude, ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
