Are you a driven Heavy Diesel Mechanic looking to specialise in machine rebuilds and major component overhauls?

Join WesTrac’s Flexi Parts & Mining Services) team at our advanced Perth Airport workshop, where we deliver end-to-end rebuild solutions that extend asset life and maximise performance across Caterpillar and other OEM equipment.

This is a unique opportunity to break away from routine maintenance and step into a environment focused on precision, quality, and technical skills.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Perform full machine rebuilds to OEM or better standards
  • Complete engine, powertrain, hydraulic, and component overhauls
  • Conduct strip, inspection, assessment, and rebuild activities
  • Deliver high-quality assembly and testing outcomes
  • Interpret technical manuals and schematics with accuracy
  • Contribute to a team culture built on safety and quality

 

Roster Options

  • 5 Days On / 2 Days Off – 10 hour shifts
  • 5Nights On/2 Days Off – 10 hour shifts

 

Skills & Experience

  • Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Mobile Plant Mechanic qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in workshop rebuilds, overhauls, or major repairs
  • Strong focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and service data
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to WesTrac’s SPARC values
