About The Role 

  • Working across mine sites, ports, and regional operations, you will:
  • Perform field-based diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Caterpillar equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
  • Work independently in the field while supported by a high-performing team
  • Service fleet including haul trucks, loaders, graders, dozers & ancillary equipment
  • Deliver safe, high-quality outcomes and exceptional customer service 


What We Are Looking for

  • Trade qualification: Plant Mechanic / Heavy Diesel / Auto Electrical
  • Proven field service experience (Cat® highly regarded)
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability 
  • Valid driver’s licence (minimum LR, higher classes advantageous) 
  • Commitment to safety, accountability, and teamwork
  • HRWL tickets (Forklift, Dogging, Rigging) – desirable

Please note: Hours do not include an unpaid 30-minute break 

  • 14/7 | 14/14 | 12/9
  • 8/6 | 10/4 | 5/2 (residential) 
  • 10–12-hour shifts
