About The Role 


Working across mine sites, ports, and regional operations, you will: 
Perform field-based diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Caterpillar equipment 
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults 
Work independently in the field while supported by a high-performing team 
Service fleet including haul trucks, loaders, graders, dozers & ancillary equipment 
Deliver safe, high-quality outcomes and exceptional customer service 


What We Are Looking for


Trade qualification: Plant Mechanic / Heavy Diesel / Auto Electrical 
Proven field service experience (Cat® highly regarded) 
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability 
Valid driver’s licence (minimum LR, higher classes advantageous) 
Commitment to safety, accountability, and teamwork 
HRWL tickets (Forklift, Dogging, Rigging) – desirable

Please note: Hours do not include an unpaid 30-minute break 
14/7 | 14/14 | 12/9 
8/6 | 10/4 | 5/2 (residential) 
10–12-hour shifts
